Dry Ice for Catering

Caterers use dry ice to keep frozen desserts and products cold during transport and service, and sometimes for presentation fog.

Transport

Pack frozen items with dry ice in insulated carriers and ventilate the vehicle.

Presentation

Keep dry ice out of drinks and food served to guests unless it's fully separated and fully sublimated before serving. Never let guests handle or swallow it.

Dry ice releases carbon dioxide gas and requires proper ventilation. Handle only with insulated gloves, and never seal it in an airtight container.
