Packing: pre-freeze product, place in an insulated foam shipper inside a sturdy outer box, dry ice on top and around, fill voids.
Ventilation: the package must let CO₂ gas escape — never tape or seal the inner shipper airtight.
Labeling: dry ice is identified as UN1845 (Class 9). Carriers typically require marking and the net weight of dry ice.
Requirements may vary by carrier, shipment and mode of transportation. PA Dry Ice is not a shipping carrier — confirm requirements with yours.
